"Two and a Half Men" Has Its Best Viewer Delivery Since Last February 2007

 

"Worst Week" Posts Best Viewer and Adults 18-49 Rating Since Premiere

 

            A stellar night by CBS's Monday comedy block, which included the largest audience ever for THE BIG BANG THEORY, gave CBS a nightly win in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen updated live plus same day ratings for Dec. 8.

 

THE BIG BANG THEORY won its time slot in households (6.5/10), adults 18-34 (2.9/08), tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.4/11, with ABC), placed second behind "Charlie Brown Christmas" in viewers (10.50m) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10, -0.1 behind ABC).  BIG BANG THEORY posted series highs in households and viewers. 

 

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in households (6.4/10), adults 25-54 (4.7/11), adults 18-49 (4.2/11), adults 18-34 (3.9/10) and second in viewers (10.49m).  This is MOTHER's best adults 18-34 performance ever, best delivery in households since February 5, 2007 and best viewer total since March 24, 2008 (the first Britney Spears appearance). 

 

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (9.5/14), viewers (15.59m), adults 25-54 (6.3/14) and adults 18-49 (5.2/13). TWO AND A HALF MEN was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.  This is TWO AND A HALF MEN's best deliveries in households and viewers since February 26, 2007. 

 

WORST WEEK was first in households (6.7/10), viewers (10.44m), adults 25-54 (4.1/09) and second in adults 18-49 (3.4/08, -0.2 behind NBC).  WORST WEEK's delivered its best household, viewers and adults 18-49 performances since its September 22, 2008 premiere and matched the series' second best adults 25-54 performance. 

 

CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (13.79m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12), adults 18-49 (4.1/10) and adults 18-34 (2.9/08), easily topping first run programming on both ABC and NBC.

 

 

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.8/12), viewers (12.43m), adults 25-54 (4.9/11), adults 18-49 (4.1/10) and adults 18-34 (3.1/08).
