U.S. OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS ON CBS
CBS Sports' coverage of the 39th U.S. Open Tennis Championships will feature 14 days of coverage and more than 40 broadcast hours of programming. The women's final will be broadcast in prime time, marking the fifth time in network television history that a Grand Slam final event will be broadcast in prime time.
ON AIR: The U.S. Open Tennis Championships begin on Monday, Aug. 28, and conclude on Sunday, Sept. 10, with the men's final. Late-night coverage takes place Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, and Monday, Sept. 4, through Friday, Sept. 8. First-weekend coverage includes men's and women's third- and fourth-round action on Saturday, Sept. 2, Sunday, Sept 3, and Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4. The final weekend of U.S. Open coverage begins on Friday, Sept. 8, with the women's semifinals and men's doubles final and continues on Saturday, Sept. 9, with "Super Saturday," featuring the men's semifinals and primetime coverage of the women's final. Coverage concludes with the men's final on Sunday, Sept. 10.
