ADRIEN BRODY AND LORRAINE BRACCO TO GUEST STAR ON NEW SHOWTIME® COMEDY SERIES DICE

Kevin Corrigan Joins Andrew Dice Clay As A Series Regular

Along With Recurring Guest Star Natasha Leggero

LOS ANGELES, CA – October 12, 2015 – Oscar® winner, Golden Globe® and Emmy® nominee Adrien Brody (The Pianist, Houdini), Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Lorraine Bracco (Goodfellas, The Sopranos) and veteran actor Kevin Corrigan (Goodfellas, Grounded For Life) have joined the upcoming SHOWTIME comedy series DICE. Brody will guest star in one episode playing himself, while Bracco will guest star in two episodes as “Toni,” a Vegas overlord who owns series star Andrew Dice Clay’s gambling debts. As the casino boss where Dice works and plays, she forces him to perform whenever and wherever she wants. In a series regular role, Corrigan will star as “Milkshake,” Dice’s best friend and right-hand man. From Fox21 Television Studios, the half-hour, single-camera comedy began production this month for premiere in 2016 on SHOWTIME on-air, on demand and over the internet.

Created by Scot Armstrong (Old School, The Hangover Part II), DICE chronicles the semi-true stories of Andrew Dice Clay, whose unique brand of humor often gets him in trouble. Once on top, the comedian now must work to resurrect his career, pay his gambling debts, manage his sons’ rock band, fend off old fans and keep his family afloat. Sean Furst, Bryan Furst, Bruce Rubenstein, Andrew Dice Clay and Scot Armstrong serve as executive producers.

Brody won the Academy Award® for Best Actor for his portrayal of real-life Holocaust survivor Wladislaw Szpilman in Roman Polanski's The Pianist. He is the youngest person to-date to have received the Oscar in that category. His performance also earned him Best Actor honors from the National Society of Film Critics and the Boston Society of Film Critics, and nominations for Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild® and BAFTA Awards. He was also bestowed with the Cesar Award, France's equivalent of the Oscar. Brody was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series at the 2015 Emmy Awards and was a SAG Best Actor in a Miniseries nominee for portraying the title role in Houdini. Other credits include American Heist, The Grand Budapest Hotel and King Kong.

Bracco is best known for her role as psychiatrist “Dr. Jennifer Melfi” on the drama series The Sopranos, a role that earned her multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Additionally, Bracco is an Academy Award nominee for her performance as a mobster’s wife in Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas, and the author of a best-selling memoir, On the Couch and a diet and nutrition book, To the Fullest. Bracco starred on Broadway as “Mrs. Robinson” in Terry Johnson’s adaptation of The Graduate. She currently stars in the drama series Rizzoli & Isles, playing the Rizzoli family matriarch, which recently completed its sixth season.

Corrigan is best known to TV audiences for his role as the slacker “Eddie Finnerty” on the sitcom Grounded For Life, as well as frequent appearances on Public Morals, The Mentalist, The Black Donnellys, Fringe, Damages and Pearl. His memorable film roles include The Departed, Superbad, Pineapple Express, American Gangster and Goodfellas.
