MATT LEBLANC

(Matt LeBlanc)

 

Matt LeBlanc portrays a twisted version of Matt LeBlanc in the multi-award nominated EPISODES.  Winning a Golden Globe® for his performance, LeBlanc also earned two Emmy® nominations and a total of two Golden Globe nominations.  The show has also been nominated for two Golden Globes for Best Television Series Comedy and two Emmys for writing for Best Comedy Series.

LeBlanc is best known for his role as the beloved ‘Joey Tribbiani’ on the iconic series Friends.  The show aired for a decade and garnered LeBlanc accolades, including three consecutive Emmy nominations, three Golden Globe nominations and a Screen Actors Guild Award® among others.  He continued portraying the character in the spin-off series “Joey” for two more years.

LeBlanc has also completed production on the independent feature Lovesick where he stars alongside Ali Larter and Chevy Chase.  The film follows a man who has everything except for love, because every time he gets close, he goes clinically insane.  When he meets the perfect girl, he must overcome his psychosis to claim his chance at true love.

LeBlanc’s feature film credits include Charlie’s Angels, and its sequel, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, directed by McG; Lost in Space, based on the classic television show that was originally produced by Irwin Allen, and All the Queen’s Men.  LeBlanc’s producing credits include Jonah Hex, the 2006 Warner Bros. pilot, The Prince, and the New Line Cinema feature The Watch.

 

 

STEPHEN MANGAN

(Sean Lincoln)

 

STEPHEN MANGAN came to prominence as womanizing anesthetist Guy Secretan in the cult series Green Wing. The hospital based comedy won a BAFTA® and was named Comedy of The Year at the 1996 British Comedy Awards®.

Mangan first found fame as popular fictional character Adrian Mole in the BBC TV series Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years.  Since then, his career has spanned film, TV, theatre and radio, always working with the top talent of the British comedy world. He recently appeared in Beyond the Pole, a film comedy about a polar expedition.  He starred opposite Nicole Kidman and Ben Chaplin in Birthday Girl. His other movie credits include Brit rom com Confetti, Billy Elliott and Martha Meet Frank Daniel and Laurence and RUSH, directed by Ron Howard. He will next be seen in Perfect Nonsense opposite Matthew McFayden.

On TV, he was among the all-star cast of the classic British comedy I’m Alan Partridge. He also appeared in sitcom Nathan Barley; the comedy drama Jane Hall; ITV’s Agatha Christie’s mystery Miss Marple: At Bertram’s Hotel; the TV movie Free Agents; and the series Never Better and Dirk Gently.

Mangan has played Tony Blair in The Hunt for Tony Blair in Channel 4’s The Comic Book Presents series. He has also provided the voice for Postman Pat in Postman Pat: The Movie.

Mangan studied at Cambridge University when he gained a Master of Arts in Law but went on to the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to train as an actor.

TAMSIN GREIG

TAMSIN GREIG is once again reunited with her Green Wing co-star, Stephen Mangan, for the third season of EPISODES. Her performance as Dr. Caroline Todd won her both a BAFTA® nomination and The Royal Television Award® for Best Comedy Performance for Green Wing in 2006.


She has starred in episodes of the ground-breaking series People Like Us, Dr. Who, When I'm 64, for the BBC, but she gained recognition and a British Comedy nomination for her television role as Fran Katzenjammer in Channel 4’s Black Books with Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey. Since then she has played the lead in the television series Love Soup; Edith Frank, Anne Frank’s mother, in the BBC series The Diary of Anne Frank; Miss Bates in the BBC’s Classic serial of Jane Austen’s Emma, Beth in White Heat and most recently, The Guilty, a three part drama for ITV.

In the theatre, Greig won both the Laurence Olivier and Critics Award for her performance as Beatrice in the RSC's production of Much Ado About Nothing. She also received critical acclaim and an Olivier nomination for her performances in The Little Dog Laughed, Gethsemane and God of Carnage, opposite Ralph Fiennes. Greig was nominated for a BIFA for her lead role in the film Tamara Drew, directed by Stephen Frears.  She starred in Jumpy at the Royal Court Theatre, which transferred to the West End and gave her another Olivier nomination and most recently starred in William Boyd's first play, Longing, at Hampstead Theatre.

She was nominated for a British Comedy Award® for playing Jacqueline "Jackie" Goodman in the Channel 4 comedy Friday Night Dinner.

 

JOHN PANKOW

(Merc Lapidus)

 

JOHN PANKOW has created memorable characters in many noted films, including To Live and Die in L.A., Mortal Thoughts, Life As a House, Talk Radio, The Secret Of My Success and most recently, The Extra Man and Morning Glory. He was a regular on the hit television series Mad About You and recurred on two critically-acclaimed series, Ally McBeal and The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. Pankow has also been featured on the programs The Good Wife, Law & Order: LA, Without a Trace and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. A veteran stage actor, Pankow has appeared in numerous New York Shakespeare Festival productions, including The Tempest, Measure For Measure, Henry V and Two Gentleman of Verona. Pankow most recently appeared Off-Broadway in Kenny Lonergan's Medieval Play at the Signature Theater and is currently in rehearsals for an Off-Broadway revival of William Inge's Natural Affection. Broadway credits include Amadeus, Cymbeline, Serious Money, Twelve Angry Men and The Iceman Cometh.

 

KATHLEEN ROSE PERKINS

KATHLEEN ROSE PERKINS has recurred on a number of television shows including Tell Me You Love Me, Trust Me, NCIS: LA, Gary Unmarried and Til Death.  Some notable guest appearances include parts on American Horror Story, Private Practice, Nip/Tuck, Grey’s Anatomy, Royal Pains and Person of Interest.

 

In the feature film world, Kathleen will next appear in David Fincher's Gone Girl opposite Ben Affleck and Neil Patrick Harris. She has a notable role in the upcoming Duplass Brothers film, The Skeleton Twins, alongside with Kristen Wiig and Luke Wilson.  She will also appear in Diablo Cody's directorial debut, Paradise, with Octavia Spencer, Julianne Hough and Holly Hunter. Kathleen can also be seen in Enough Said opposite James Gandolfini and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks based on the Broadway play of the same name. 

 

MIRCEA MONROE

(Morning Randolph)

 

MIRCEA MONROE was seen in The Change Up opposite Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman, as well as in Magic Mike directed by Steven Soderberg, opposite Channing Tatum. On TV, she starred as Ellie Laird in the high-octane series Drive and can be currently seen recurring on the small screen in Hart of Dixie, playing on her southern roots.  In addition, Monroe appeared in numerous sketches on The Late Show with Conan O’Brien and now Conan.

 

CHRIS DIAMANTOPOULOUS

CHRIS DIAMANTOPOULOS most recently starred as “Moe” in the feature film, The Three Stooges alongside Sean Hayes and Will Sasso for the Farrelly Brothers.

On the small screen, Diamantopoulos is well-known for several diverse character portrayals -- the gay interior designer, Rodney, opposite Debra Messing on the Emmy®-nominated drama, The Starter Wife; one of his idols, Frank Sinatra, alongside Greg Kinnear’s title role on the recent Emmy nominated miniseries The Kennedys; Presidential Chief-of-Staff Rob Weiss on the eighth season of 24; and the role of actor-comedian Robin Williams in the 2005 telefilm, Behind The Camera: Mork & Mindy, for which he earned Gemini® and Prism Award®  nominations for his performance. 

Most recently, Chris has had recurring roles on the hit shows The Office, and Up All Night with Christina Applegate. Other accomplished television credits include guest star roles on successful shows such as Law & Order, Third Watch, Frasier, Nip/Tuck, American Dreams, Kevin Hill, Charmed, The Sopranos, CSI, Boston Legal and Eli Stone.  He also starred opposite Lili Taylor in State Of Mind.

Diamantopoulos made his film debut in the starring role of the 2000 drama, The Adulterer, and includes among his feature credits the titles Drop Dead Roses, Into The Fire, Wedding Daze opposite Isla Fisher, Three Days To Vegas opposite Rip Torn, Peter Falk and George Segal, and Under New Management.

Also an established voice-over artist, Diamantopoulos has lent his vocal talents to numerous national TV and radio campaigns.  He took pride in voicing the ancient Greek narrative in Academy Award® winner Jessica Yu's Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominated documentary, Protagonist.  He also recently voiced several characters on the hit show, American Dad.

DAVID CRANE is one of the most influential writers in TV comedy. As the co-creator of Friends, along with his longtime friend Marta Kauffman, he changed the face of comedy for a generation. The duo also created the hit HBO comedy Dream On, Veronica’s Closet, and The Powers That Be. He went on to create the The Class with his partner Jeffrey Klarik.   Their current project "Episodes" has garnered them two Emmy® nominations for Best Writing in a Comedy Series, as well as a Golden Globe® and Writers Guild® nomination.

 

JEFFREY KLARIK

JEFFREY KLARIK created the critically acclaimed sitcom The Class with his partner David Crane. He also created the series Half & Half which ran for four seasons and was the recipient of numerous NAACP® awards. His work on the hit comedy Mad About You earned him both a Golden Globe® as well as an Emmy® nomination.  During his career he has also written and produced the comedies INK, The Naked Truth, and Dream On. His latest show Episodes, also created with David Crane, was the recipient of three Golden Globe nominations, two Emmy nominations and a nomination for best new series from the Writers Guild of America®.

JIMMY MULVILLE is one of the founders of Hat Trick Productions and created Have I Got News For You? In 1997, he became the first British producer to recreate a British series on US TV, launching Whose Line Is It Anyway, which ran for seven years on ABC. In 1999, he received the BAFTA Award® for Outstanding Creative Contribution to Television. Mulville is a Fellow of the Royal Television Society. Hat Trick’s other credits include Facejacker, Outnumbered, Father Ted and Drop the Dead Donkey.

Matt continues to fight for custody of his children, trying to convince his ex-wife to forgive him for sleeping with his stalker.  Meanwhile, Sean and Beverly are back together.  But they soon discover that it’s not so easy to heal old wounds, especially when additional secrets are revealed about their time apart.  Over at the network, Carol’s ambitions are dealt a cruel blow.

“Pucks!” is finally pulled from the schedule.  Although not officially cancelled, the writing is clearly on the wall for the doomed hockey comedy.  Everyone reacts in different ways:  Sean is in denial, Beverly is mentally packing her bags, while Matt finds solace in the arms of a 19 year old super-fan.
