This documentary chronicles the rise and fall of All Jokes Aside, a Chicago comedy club that was, for almost a decade, the only standup showcase for black comedy talent in that city. Featuring a who's who of African-American stars, some of whom had their first paid gigs at the club, this slice of show business history features such luminaries as Cedric the Entertainer, Craig Robinson and D.L. Hughley.
