THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS won its time period in viewers and demos, leading CBS to its sixth consecutive Sunday win in all key measures, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for April 18.

From 8:00-11:00 PM, THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS (S) was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (13.05m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10), adults 18-49 (3.2/08) and adults 18-34 (2.1/07).  THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS was the night's number one program in viewers and adults 25-54.

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (12.48m), adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08).  CBS swept these measures for the sixth consecutive Sunday.
