THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS marked its 22^nd consecutive year as the #1 daytime drama with and against regular schedules in the week ending Dec. 3, 2010, according to Nielsen Media Research.

            The winning streak began the week of Dec. 26, 1988 - Jan 1, 1989.

            THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is currently averaging 3.6/12 in households, 5.17 million viewers and is also ranked #1 among daytime programs in women 25-54 (2.3/14) and women 18-49 (1.7/11) season-to-date.  In the week ending Dec. 3, 2010, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS posted 3.5/12 in households with 5.05 million viewers, 2.2/14 women 25-54 and 1.7/11 in women 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.

            THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was recently renewed through the 2013-2014 season.  It is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
