Solid Premiere for “Bad Teacher,” As It Boosts Week-Ago Time Period 

By +51% in Viewers and +62% in Adults 18-49

“The Big Bang Theory” Tops Thursday in Viewers and Key Demographics

“The Millers,” “Two and a Half Men” and “Elementary” Sweep Time Periods

CBS Wins Thursday in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

CBS's new comedy BAD TEACHER premiered strong, boosting the week-ago time period by double-digit percentages in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, April 24.

At 9:30 PM, BAD TEACHER (P) was second in viewers (7.87m, -0.90m behind ABC), adults 25-54 (2.9/07, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06, -0.2 behind ABC). Compared to the week-ago time period, BAD TEACHER was up +51% in viewers and +62% in adults 18-49.  BAD TEACHER posted the time period's best non-sports deliveries in viewers since Feb. 6, 2014, its best adults 25-54 rating since Jan. 30, 2014 and its best adults 18-49 rating since Jan. 9, 2014.

At 8:00 PM,THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (15.96m), adults 25-54 (5.7/18) and adults 18-49 (4.3/16).  CBS beat NBC, ABC, FOX and CW combined in viewers (vs. 12.10m, +32%), adults 25-54 (vs. 4.7, +21%) and adults 18-49 (vs. 3.8, +13%).  THE BIG BANG THEORY is the night's top program in these measures.

At 8:30 PM, THE MILLERS was first in viewers (10.15m), adults 25-54 (3.4/10) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08). Compared to the last first-run episode on April 10, THE MILLERS was even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and added +80,000 viewers (from 10.07m, +1%). 

At 9:00 PM, TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in viewers (9.46m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08).  Compared to the last first-run episode on April 10, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/09) and +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08).

At 10:00 PM, ELEMENTARY was first in viewers (8.12m), adults 25-54 (2.3/06) and adults 18-49 (1.6/05).  Compared to the last first-run episode on April 10, ELEMENTARY was even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and added +220,000 viewers (from 7.90m, +3%). 

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (9.95m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and adults 18-49 (2.4/08).  CBS won the first night of the May sweep viewers for the third consecutive year, swept in the key demos for the second straight year.
