"Protest" -- An anti-war bombing which kills an innocent man becomes personal when the investigation reveals surprising information about Don and Charlie's father's past, on NUMB3RS, Friday, March 3 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Dennis Smith directed the episode written by co-creators Cheryl Heuton and Nicolas Falacci, who also serve as two of the series' executive producers.

Robert Forster ("Jackie Brown") portrays retired Agent Thomas Larson who was on the anti-war bombing case 30 years ago.

Don and his team investigate a deadly anti-war bombing which bears the stamp of a 1970's anti-war activist who went missing 30 years ago after being accused of planting a bomb that killed two people. Retired Agent Thomas Larson, who tried to solve the case 30 years ago, turns up to help but questions Don's loyalty to the case when it is revealed that Don's father, Alan, knew the radical activist and participated in demonstrations with him, causing tension between father and son.
