DOUG CONVINCES CARRIE TO TAKE UP POLE DANCING LESSONS
ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT SHE'S HORRIBLE AT IT, ON A REBROADCAST
OF THE EIGHTH SEASON PREMIERE OF "THE KING OF QUEENS,"
MONDAY, JUNE 5
"Pole Lox" -- Doug convinces Carrie to take pole dancing lessons only to be disappointed when Carrie puts on a show for him, on a rebroadcast of the eighth season premiere of THE KING OF QUEENS, Monday, June 5 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rob Schiller directed the script written by creative consultant Michael J. Weithorn. (Originally broadcast 9/19/05)

At Doug's encouragement, Carrie reluctantly agrees to start taking pole dancing lessons, but quickly starts to enjoy the classes and begins feeling better about herself. However when Doug installs a pole in their bedroom and Carrie puts on a show for him, Doug is shocked to discover how bad Carrie is at dancing, but doesn't know how to let her down gently. Meanwhile, Arthur is convinced that Carrie's new hobby is a direct result of his lack of parenting over the years and tries to make up for lost time by spending more time with her.
