CBS'S "LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN" DELIVERS ITS HIGHEST METERED MARKET RATING IN NEARLY A YEAR

  Guests Jerry Seinfeld, Dan Patrick and a Satellite Appearance By Michael Richards Gives "Late Show" a Monday Victory 

"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" Scores Its Highest Rating of the Season  

CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, with guests Jerry Seinfeld, Dan Patrick and a satellite appearance by Michael Richards, who offered an explanation and apology for the racial comments he made this weekend during a stand-up routine at a Los Angeles comedy club, delivered its highest rating in the 55 Nielsen metered markets in nearly a year, on Monday, Nov. 20.

Last night's 5.2/13 was the highest rating for LATE SHOW in the metered markets since a 10.1/24 on Dec. 1, 2005 when Oprah Winfrey and Bonnie Raitt were the guests on the program.

LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" by +0.8 rating point (5.2/13 vs. 4.4/11, +18%).

Meanwhile, THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON, with guests.

Christian Slater and Sue Johanson, earned a 2.1/8, the highest rating for LATE LATE SHOW this season.   

It was the highest rating for LATE LATE SHOW since a 2.1/8 on Feb. 6, 2006 when Mary Steenburgen and Big & Rich were the show's guests. 

LATE LATE SHOW tied "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" for the third time this season while winning outright once on Nov. 6 (2.0/8 vs. 1.9/7).
