Nigel Barker ("America's Next Top Model") will appear as himself when he makes his acting debut as the host of "Extreme Catwalk," a fictional reality show, on two episodes of CBS's THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.  The episodes will air on Tuesday, May 29 and Wednesday, May 30 on the CBS Television Network.

         As host of "Extreme Catwalk," Nigel mediates between dueling divas Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman), while sexy schemer Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) models her daring new fashion designs on the runway.

         THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been the Number One rated drama for more than 18 years and is in its 35th season.  It is currently nominated for a 2007 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Drama.  The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
