STEPHEN COLBERT’S “RUSSIA WEEK” SCORES BIG RATINGS WIN IN LATE NIGHT
“The Late Show” Wins the Week by +450,000 Viewers, Its Largest Margin since the Show’s Premiere in September 2015
THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT’s “Russia Week,” featuring a week of shows that covered the host’s recent trip to St. Petersburg and Moscow, won the week in viewers by its largest margin since the show’s premiere in September 2015, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 21.
THE LATE SHOW averaged 2.87m viewers, up +14% (from 2.52m) compared to the same week last year. THE LATE SHOW topped “The Tonight Show” by +450,000 viewers (2.87 vs. 2.42m, +19%), its largest margin against a week of all first-run broadcasts since the week ending Sept. 11, 2015.
