FBI” AND “BLUE BLOODS” WERE WEEK’S TOP FIVE BROADCAST SHOWS

NETWORK WINS FRIDAY FOR 30TH WEEK THIS SEASON

CBS remained on top again for the 10th consecutive week, as the Network was once again the most-watched broadcaster during week 32 of the 2018-2019 broadcast season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sunday, May 5. CBS has now been #1 in viewers for 15 of the past 16 weeks. The week’s top five most-watched broadcast shows were all on CBS: THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS, YOUNG SHELDON, FBI and BLUE BLOODS.

For week 32, CBS had an average of 5.96 million weekly viewers, beating NBC (4.55m), ABC (4.64m) and FOX (2.64m). Season-to-date, CBS is first with 9.07 million viewers, and NBC is second (7.37m), followed by ABC (5.71m) and FOX (5.55m).

Season to date, the Network is tied for first place in adults 25-54 (2.2) and is in second place (by only 0.1) in adults 18-49 (1.6, tie).

On Monday, BULL was first in viewers (6.45m), adults 25-54 (0.9/03, tie) and adults 18-49 (0.6/03, tie). BULL was Monday’s #1 scripted program in viewers.

On Tuesday, CBS was first in viewers (9.28m), adults 25-54 (1.4/05) and adults 18-49 (0.9/04). NCIS was the night’s top program in viewers (11.80m), adults 25-54 (1.8/07) and adults 18-49 (1.1/05). FBI was first in viewers (8.86m) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (0.9/04).

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was #1 at 10:00 PM in viewers (7.16m) and posted its largest audience since March 26.

On Thursday night, CBS was once again first in viewers (7.80m), adults 25-54 (1.8/07) and adults 18-49 (1.1/05). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week’s top program in viewers (12.48m), while also winning the night in adults 25-54 (3.1/13) and adults 18-49 (1.9/10). YOUNG SHELDON was first in viewers (10.73m), adults 25-54 (2.4/09) and adults 18-49 (1.5/07, tie), while MOM at 9:00 PM was #1 in viewers (7.89m) and adults 25-54 (1.9/07). At 9:30 PM, LIFE IN PIECES was second in viewers (5.58m), adults 25-54 (1.3/05) and adults 18-49 (0.8/04, tie). Rounding out the night, S.W.A.T. was first in viewers (5.00m).

On Friday, CBS won for the 30th time in 32 weeks as the Network was first in viewers (6.74m), adults 25-54 (1.1/04) and adults 18-49 (0.7/04). MACGYVER was tops at 8:00 PM in viewers (5.33m), while HAWAII FIVE-0 was first in viewers (6.77m), adults 25-54 (1.1/04) and adults 18-49 (0.7/04). At 10:00 PM, BLUE BLOODS was #1 for the night in viewers (8.13m), adults 25-54 (1.2/05) and adults 18-49 (0.7/04) with its largest audience since March 8.

On Sunday, CBS started primetime late due to a golf overrun and was second in viewers. However, 60 MINUTES was the night’s top broadcast with 7.60 million viewers. THE RED LINE was #2 in viewers (3.88m), and NCIS: LOS ANGELES at 10:30 PM was first with 4.95 million viewers.
