LUPITA NYONG’O ONLY HAS EYES FOR STEPHEN BECAUSE “THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” REMAINS #1 IN LATE NIGHT BY OVER +1.3 MILLION VIEWERS
Last week, (Week #26 of the 2018-2019 broadcast season) THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT delivered 3.55 million viewers, 0.7 in adults 25-54 and 0.5 in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus three-day ratings. THE LATE SHOW has delivered more than 3.5 million weekly viewers with three-day lift every first-run week this season.
With three-day lift, THE LATE SHOW improved its advantage over “Tonight” in viewers to +1.30 million viewers (vs. 2.25m) after leading by +790,000 with same day viewers (vs. 2.15m). THE LATE SHOW also remained tied with “Tonight” in adults 18-49 (0.5, each).
Additionally, last night, THE LATE SHOW scored its best Tuesday overnight Metered Market Rating (2.8) since February 19.
Season-to-date, THE LATE SHOW (3.81m) leads “The Tonight Show” (2.47m) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (2.09m) by more than one-million viewers, and is tied with “The Tonight Show” in adults 25-54 (0.8/04) and adults 18-49 (0.5/04). THE LATE SHOW continues to lead “Tonight” in adults 18-49 audience (685k versus 679k).
