Catherine Ross of Reynoldsville, Pa. has been named the winner of CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT's first-ever online "Home Viewer Showcase," which was announced today, Wednesday, March 16, (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.   Over this past weekend, guest announcer George Gray and THE PRICE IS RIGHT model Gwendolyn Osbourne-Smith flew to Reynoldsville to surprise Ross at her door to let her know that she was the only entrant to submit the exact bid of $64,816, and was the winner of the showcase.

With bidding open to viewers at www.priceisright.com, the showcase featured 10 prizes, including a new 2011 Honda Accord, a lavish beach vacation to Riviera Maya, Mexico, a luxury watch, a high-end kitchen appliance, a laptop computer, a celebrity-designed living room collection, a VIP trip to a Seattle Sounders home game and other modern day indulgences.  To play, two items were revealed on-air during each episode the week of Monday, March 7, for a grand total of 10 items.  Viewers went to http://www.priceisright.com/ and "locked in" their bids for the Home Viewer Showcase items featured in that show, by the deadline of Friday, March 12.
