THIS JUST IN... CINDY McCAIN, WIFE OF REPUBLICAN SENATOR JOHN McCAIN, SHARES HER THOUGHTS ON SARAH PALIN'S CAPABILITY TO SERVE AS PRESIDENT, ON "THE TALK," THURSDAY, OCT. 28

Cindy McCain, wife of Republican Senator John McCain, shared her thoughts on whether Sarah Palin is capable of running the country, during today's broadcast of THE TALK, on the CBS Television Network.

When asked by host Julie Chen if Sarah Palin is capable of running the country if she decides to run for President, McCain, who appeared on THE TALK with her daughter Meghan, responded, "I don't know, and this is not a criticism of Sarah, because I can only speak from where I came from.  I know the body of work that my husband came from and I know where he stood and I know what he believes in.  What I want from somebody is what I wanted from my husband, which is the sense to run this country."

McCain continued, "I think she [Sarah Palin] has the sense.  I think she has the wherewithal.  I just hope she has the ability to understand that we have to include everybody in this party and this country.  And again, I am not criticizing Sarah. But I understand that we are going to lose our young people to politics unless we include everybody in the process."
