The Critically Acclaimed SHOWTIME® Series Debuts on DVD June 12, 2012

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (April 2, 2012) – They’ve made their way across the Pond only to find that actor Matt LeBlanc is their ticket to Hollywood.  Producing team Sean and Beverly Lincoln may be British television visionaries, but they are in over their heads when their hit show gets an American makeover in EPISODES: THE FIRST SEASON, available on DVD on June 12 from Showtime Networks, CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution.  Catch up on all of the hilarious fun in season one before the second season premieres on July 1 on Showtime.

Golden Globe winner Matt LeBlanc stars in this “funny as hell” (Newsday) comedy, as the overbearing lead of the Americanized version of a successful British television show.  Whether combating powerful network execs or keeping manipulative stars happy, Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly Lincoln (Tamsin Greig) must keep it together in order to navigate the shark-infested waters of Hollywood and survive with their careers, their marriage and their sanity intact.  EPISODES: THE FIRST SEASON perfectly blends British and American humor and is “Riotously funny…easily the best new sitcom of the season” (USA Today).  The show also features John Pankow, Kathleen Rose Perkins and Mircea Monroe.  The series was created and written by two of America’s most successful comedy writers David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You, The Class).

EPISODES: THE FIRST SEASON DVD includes all seven hysterical half-hour episodes of the first season, plus bonus features via E-Bridge technology, and will be available for the suggested retail price of $29.99 U.S.

The DVD is presented in widescreen with English 5.1 Surround, English 2.0 Stereo and Spanish 2.0 Stereo.  The DVD is not rated in the U.S.  The total running time is approximately 202 minutes.  The DVD includes:
