The Haunting Conclusion Of The Chilling Crime Drama Entrances On DVD June 21

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (June 13, 2011) - Experience the last moments of the acclaimed, supernatural mystery when Medium: The Final Season arrives on DVD June 21 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.  Headlined by Patricia Arquette and from executive producer, creator and director Glenn Gordon Caron, Medium: The Final Season marks the conclusion of the popular series inspired by real-life psychic Allison Dubois, an extraordinary wife and mother who since childhood has struggled to make sense of her dreams and visions of the dead.

A special highlight to the final season DVD is  "Memories of Medium," a collection of new cast interviews and never-before-released behind-the-scenes footage from all seven seasons.  Additional special features include "The Making of Medium: Season 7," featuring insights from showrunners, writers, cast and crew; "Medium: Shadows & Light," a featurette tracing how wisely considered composition, framing and lighting create the appropriate mood for the show; and "Meet Detective Lee Scanlon," a fun profile on actor David Cubitt.

In the seventh and final season, Allison struggles to find balance between her family and her job as a consultant to the local law enforcement who rely on her psychic powers to solve baffling crimes.  Not only is her marriage tested as her husband Joe's ambitions to further his career puts strains on their relationship, but her three young daughters also attempt to make sense of their own inherited psychic abilities, powers that continue to get stronger with age.  When Joe's mother dies, her ghost visits Allison and warns her of a looming darkness to come, an eerie portend that haunts the couple as they face a final test in which their love must survive both time and death.

Including all 13 final-season episodes plus spine tingling, behind-the-scene special features, Medium: The Final Season also stars Jake Weber, Miguel Sandoval, Sofia Vassilieva, Maria Lark and David Cubitt.
