SAN FRANCISCO – June 5, 2018 – GameSpot, the #1 gaming news and information site, returns to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) for its 15th year bringing expert coverage of the annual video game mega-event to its global audience. Gamers everywhere will have a window to all the thrills and excitement of the show from June 12 to June 14, as GameSpot’s editorial team serves up the biggest news and insights of E3 on www.gamespot.com.

It’s Game On at the Battle Rig
GameSpot is teaming up with Jack in the Box to literally take the show on the road with the GameSpot Battle Rig – a massive 70-foot truck equipped with 14 game stations – located at Microsoft Square at LA Live, adjacent to E3. From 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM each day, gamers can challenge one another to a fast-paced battle royale showdown. The truck will also serve as a destination for fans to meet celebrities and gaming influencers from GameSpot’s partner stage show, including members of WWE’s The New Day, Kinda Funny, Funhaus and more.
An Elite Stage and Epic Stream
The biggest gaming news of the year is announced during the E3 press conferences which will be streamed live on GameSpot.com and its social channels, including YouTube.com/gamespot, Facebook.com/GameSpot, Twitter.com/gamespot and Twitch.tv/gamespot.

Following the broadcast of each press conference, members of GameSpot’s industry-leading team of game journalists will give their expert analysis of all the unexpected reveals and trailers making their debut at E3. Some of the most anticipated stories for this year’s show include: console exclusive announcements from Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo as they try to attract more gamers to their brands, new approaches to monetization from subscription models to microtransactions and the rise of battle royale gaming popularized by Fortnite and now appearing in mainstream titles.
Throughout the week, the GameSpot team will host a live stage show where they will dive deep into demos of the most hotly anticipated games of the year. During the afternoon, the GameSpot stage show will be hosted by a select lineup of celebrities, industry influencers and gaming insiders.

Tuesday, June 12
5:00 PM to 6:40 PM: GameSpot alums Cam Robinson and Seb Ford return to E3 to duke it out against one another in multiplayer PvP games and engage with the attendees in the audience.
Wednesday, June 13
3:40 PM to 4:40 PM: WWE superstar team The New Day, composed of members Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will take to the stage to share their passion for all the biggest games of the year and then face off against each other in a live multiplayer match.
1:40 PM to 3:20 PM: Funhaus members Bruce Greene, James Willems, Elyse Willems, Lawrence Sonntag and Adam Kovic will bring their special brand of gaming entertainment to E3 and play an interactive game show with our live audience.
Thursday, June 14
12:40 PM to 2:00 PM: Hop, Blip and a Jump host Jared Petty will chat with an assortment of game developers and gaming personalities about the biggest E3 announcements and more.
2:40 PM to 6:00 PM: GameSpot partner stage veterans Kinda Funny will close out the show, interviewing an entertaining assortment of celebrities and game creators.
