“60 MINUTES” EXTENDS STREAK IN TOP 10 TO 11 STRAIGHT TIMES
CBS Newsmagazine Makes the List for the 21st Time This Season
60 MINUTES remained in the Top 10 this week, running its streak to 11. The broadcast drew 8.65 million viewers to land at #8, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, May 13.
It was the 21st time 60 MINUTES was in the Top 10 over 26 broadcasts this season.
The CBS newsmagazine was Sunday’s #1 prime program in viewers.
Sunday’s 60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley’s investigation of a surgical implant that 100,000 women are suing over; Bill Whitaker’s story about children living with their grandparents due to the opioid crisis; and an Anderson Cooper report on the effectiveness of electroconvulsive therapy on depression sufferers.
