CBS Sports’ national coverage of the SEC Championship game on Saturday, Dec, 1 (4:00-8:00 PM, ET), which saw Alabama defeat Georgia, 32-28, averaged an overnight household rating/share in the metered markets of 10.0/21, up 35%, from last year’s 7.4/15 for LSU-Georgia. The SEC Championship game ties with last weekend’s Notre Dame-USC game as the highest-rated college football game of the year in the metered markets.
