TOUR Championship Caps Season with Best Final Round Telecast Since Tiger Woods’ Win in 2018

Paramount+ Delivers its Most-Streamed PGA TOUR Season Ever

CBS Sports’ coverage of the 2023 PGA TOUR season (and FedExCup Playoffs) delivered record-setting viewership across platforms, culminating in the most-watched TOUR Championship final round in five years.

For the season, CBS averaged 2.206 million viewers for its 42 PGA TOUR telecasts, up +1% vs. 2022 (2.195 million; 35 telecasts). The nine (non-major) designated PGA TOUR events on CBS in 2023 averaged 2.666 million viewers, +5% vs. the same events in 2022 (2.545 million viewers). The network also set records for coverage on Paramount+ in 2023, becoming the most-streamed PGA TOUR season across households, minutes and average minute audience (AMA).

Final round coverage of the TOUR Championship (5:34-7:37 P.M., ET) averaged 4.613 million viewers and scored the most-watched final round telecast at the event since Tiger Woods’ win in 2018 (7.202 million, 3:00-6:19 P.M., ET). Coverage peaked with 5.510 million viewers. The early round telecast (1:30-5:34 P.M., ET) – which was impacted by weather – averaged 2.330 million viewers.

CBS Sports’ coverage of last week’s TOUR Championship also delivered the most-watched PGA TOUR event ever on Paramount+ across households, minutes and AMA.
