CBS SPORTS NETWORK HITS THE HARDCOURT FOR U.S. OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Live Coverage Begins Tuesday, August 21 with U.S. Open Qualifying Matches
CBS Sports Network provides coverage of the U.S. Open Tennis Championships with live matches, studio shows and encore presentations of classic U.S. Open matches. Live programming begins on Tuesday, August 21 (1:00-9:00 PM, ET) as the Network televises US Open qualifying matches for the first time in tournament history.
During qualifying week, play-by-play announcer Dave Ryan teams with analyst Katrina Adams, while Andrew Catalon pairs with analyst Taylor Dent to call the live action. Danielle Santoro serves as reporter. Adam Zucker anchors coverage from the Mojito Set with analyst Justin Gimelstob.
On Monday, August 20 and Tuesday, August 21 the Network serves up encores of classic U.S. Open matches featuring great moments from top American players. A full schedule is included below, and also available at www.cbssportsnetwork.com/schedule.
CBS Sports Network’s coverage continues throughout Labor Day weekend with three days of live outer-court coverage showcasing the most compelling third- and fourth-round matches not shown during CBS Sports’ live simultaneous broadcast (11:00 AM-6:00 PM, ET).
Ryan serves as host at the Mojito Set along with Gimelstob, while Sam Gore, Chanda Rubin, Catalon and Dent call the action. Santoro again serves as reporter.
Throughout Labor Day weekend, the Network also airs TODAY AT THE US OPEN (10:00-11:00 AM, ET), a live studio show from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. Ryan hosts, and is joined by analysts Dent and Rubin.
CBS Sports Network is available across the country through local cable, video and telco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 613 and Dish Network Channel 158.
