(On coaching and general manager moves occurring this season)

JASON LA CANFORA: Based on talks with executives and GMs around the league, they think there is a potential for sweeping changes around the league.  Not just on the coaching side, but more GM moves than ever before, and a lot of places where the coach and GM are in trouble.  We know Carolina and Cleveland, change is afoot there.  Buffalo, San Diego, Jacksonville, Kansas City, you can see it on both sides of the ball there.  With that in mind, long time executive Bill Polian is looking to get back in the league in 2013.  Mike Lombardi worked in Cleveland.  I continue to hear a buzz about him going back in a front office role.  And long time GM Jerry Angelo, most recently with the Bears, is looking for a job in 2013 at the GM level.

(On whether there will be a team full-time in London)

JASON LA CANFORA:  Get your fish and chips ready because there is a strong desire to be in London.  I've talked to several people who were at the most recent league meeting where all the owners gather.  They came away convinced that not only is this going to happen it's going to happen within the next 10 years.  A lot of people in the league believe Jacksonville is the likely front-runners to end up there.  They're going to be playing a game at Wembley from 2013 to 2016.

BOOMER ESIASON:  This week we have great divisional matchups, important conference matchups.  And there are two teams that either start their season anew or it's the beginning of the end.  To me it's the Cowboys and Eagles in the NFC East.  They have the Giants and Falcons coming in and it's not going to be easy.

SHANNON SHARPE:  I believe they (Broncos) run the table from here on out.  I believe they challenge the Houston Texans for homefield advantage throughout.  The only game they will not be favored in would probably be at Baltimore.  But when you look at their schedule with two games against Kansas City, the Oakland Raiders and with Cleveland and KC still on their schedule, I believe the Broncos and Peyton Manning, playing as well as he is, run the table.  They get to 133.

(On Philadelphia’s Michael Vick and Andy Reid)

SHARPE: Michael Vick is a loss away from losing his job to Nick Foles.  The owner has made it abundantly clear, 88 will not do it this year to keep Andy Reid's job.  What does that mean?  He didn't say you need 10 or 11 wins.  But I believe they need to get to the playoffs and go extremely far in the playoffs for Andy to maintain his job.  But I believe Michael Vick is a loss away from losing his job.

CBS Sports’ coverage of the SEC ON CBS on Saturday, Oct. 27, which saw No. 10 Georgia defeat No. 2 Florida, earned an average overnight household rating/share of 4.7/10, up 21% from last year’s 3.9/9 (Georgia-Florida).  Yesterday’s 4.7/10 tied with a 4.7/11 as CBS Sports’ highest rating-to-date in the 2012 college football season (No. 4 LSU-No. 10 Florida; 10/06/12).  The 4.7/10 in 2012 also was the highest rating for Georgia-Florida on CBS since a 4.8/11 on October 31, 2009.
