CBS SPORTS PEDALS INTO PARIS WITH FINAL STAGES OF "TOUR DE FRANCE" ON SUNDAY, JULY 29

            CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR's coverage of the 2007 TOUR DE FRANCE completes its third and final stage of hour-long specials on Sunday, July 29 (1:00-2:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.  Craig Hummer joins CBS Sports' TOUR DE FRANCE announce team along with "the voice of cycling" analyst Phil Liggett, who is working his 35th consecutive year on Tour television coverage, and industry veteran and former pro rider of seven Tours, Paul Sherwen, in calling the action.  CBS Sports once again partners with Versus to broadcast the 2007 TOUR DE FRANCE.  Vic Frank serves as producer of CBS Sports' coverage.  Production support will be provided by Versus.

          CBS SPORTS HAS GAME WITH 2007 WORLD SERIES OF VIDEO GAMES ON SUNDAY

         CBS Sports broadcasts the 2007 WORLD SERIES OF VIDEO GAMES PRESENTED BY INTEL on Sunday, July 29 (12:00-1:00 PM, ET; taped 6/21-24) from the Louisville Expo Center in Louisville, Ky. This will be the first of four hour-long shows CBS Sports will broadcast this year. In this event, the top gamers in the world will compete in video games that include: EA Sports Fight Night Round 3, Counter Strike 1.6, Guitar Hero 2, Quake 4 and World of Warcraft. The total purse for this event is $90,000 with the largest prizes reserved for World of Warcraft and Counter Strike 1.6, set at $30,000 apiece. Each episode will include segments on the competitors along with the games themselves. The WORLD SERIES OF VIDEO is technically in its second year of operation and is described as the world's premier video game tournament circuit. Last year its tournaments drew an attendance of around 90,000 gamers. CSTV's Greg Amsinger calls the action for CBS Sportrs.  CBS Sports' Steve McKee is the coordinating producer.

CBS SPORTS' JAMES BROWN GIVES AWARDS TO THOSE WHO GIVE BACK

           CBS Sports presents THE JB AWARDS on Saturday, July 28 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; taped). Hosted by CBS Sports' James Brown, of whom the award is named, this television special offers exclusive in-depth interviews with the JB Award recipients honored this past April at the NFL Players Gala in Washington, D.C. The annual Gala pays tribute to some of the NFL's biggest heroes for their off-the-field achievements in the community, while also benefiting the Special Olympics. Inspirational stories highlighted in the program include personal accounts from JB Award recipients: Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy, former St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk, Denver Broncos safety John Lynch as well as several others. Ten JB Award winners were personally selected from a field of 32 players by Brown after each NFL team nominated a player at the end of the season for his commitment to achieve excellence off the field through building better communities and stronger families.  CBS Sports' Andy Goldberg is the coordinating producer.
