The race for the 2009 Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship continues as CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR presents MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS on Sunday, April 19 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; taped 4/18) from Qwest Field in Seattle, Wash.   With just three races left, the chase for the 2009 championship is neck-and-neck as James Stewart has won three-of-the-last four races and looks to get back on top of the standings. Defending champion Chad Reed is keeping a steady pace but has seen his lead shaved down to just five points.  Ralph Sheheen, Jeff Emig and Erin Bates call the action for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports’ John Paquet is the coordinating producer.
