CBS’ WEEK 4 NFL NATIONAL AND REGIONAL GAMES RATINGS BOTH RISE 14%

National 4:25 PM, ET Window Earns Rating/Share of 12.3/24,

as Highest-Rated Game of Day

Through Four Weeks “The NFL on CBS” Rating Up +4%

CBS Sports’ Week 4 NFL doubleheader coverage of THE NFL ON CBS on Sunday, Sept. 30 scored in the ratings with an increase of 14% for both its regional 1:00 PM, ET game window and national 4:25 PM, ET game window.

Through four weeks, THE NFL ON CBS’ season-to-date ratings are up +4% from a year ago (10.5/22 vs. 10.1/21).

CBS’ national 4:25 PM, ET game window earned an average overnight household rating/share of 12.3/24, up +14% from last year (10.8/21) in the metered markets, tying as the highest-rated game of the day. The featured games were New Orleans-New York Giants and San Francisco-L.A. Chargers.

The regional game window earned a rating/share of 9.2/20, up +14% from last year (8.1/18). The regional games included: Miami-New England, Buffalo-Green Bay, Cincinnati-Atlanta and Houston-Indianapolis.

CBS’ NFL pregame show, THE NFL TODAY, earned a ratings increase, up +4%, with a rating/share of 2.5/7 vs. last year (2.4/6) in the metered markets.
