THE NFL ON CBS, home of Super Bowl LIII, continues its 59th season on Sunday, Oct. 7 as Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson call the Jacksonville-Kansas City game from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. (1:00 PM, ET) in leading CBS' coverage into Week 5 of its Super Bowl season. This season marks the 20th time CBS will broadcast the Super Bowl - the most of any network.
The day begins with THE NFL TODAY (12:00 Noon, ET) and THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW on CBS Sports Network (8:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET) live from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.

James Brown, along with analysts Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, Phil Simms, Nate Burleson and NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, lead THE NFL TODAY into its 51st year.
THE NFL TODAY previews Week 5 highlighting games that include the NFL's No. 1 offense vs. the No. 1 defense as Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City go up against Jalen Ramsey, Calais Campbell and Yannick Ngakoue and Jacksonville; as well as a pair of 3-1 teams leading their respective divisions in Miami vs. Cincinnati. A feature on the young Chiefs quarterback Mahomes gives a different look into his life by visiting his hometown of Whitehouse, Texas, his high school coaches, as well as his college and Texas Tech teammates and showing the people and events in his life that have helped him get to where he is. In addition, Jim Rome will be in-studio giving his take on the NFL at the quarter-pole of the season; discussion of what is happening in Pittsburgh and the AFC North division, and an "Extra Point" feaure on Denver rookie LB Bradley Chubb is part of THE NFL TODAY in Week 5.
