CBS SPORTS’ FINAL-ROUND COVERAGE OF 2018 PGA CHAMPIONSHIP IS MOST-WATCHED IN NINE YEARS
An Average of 8.5 Million Viewers Watched Final Round, Up 73% from Last Year
CBS Sports’ final-round coverage of the 2018 PGA Championship on Sunday, August 12 was the most-watched final round of the PGA Championship in nine years.
An average of 8.5 million viewers (Persons 2+) tuned in to the final round, an increase of 73% compared to last year’s 4.9 million.
This year’s average viewership was the best since 2009 (10.1 million).
The final-round viewership peaked with an average of 12.3 million viewers from 6:30-7:00 PM, ET.
