CBS Sports Network Features Extensive Draft Coverage with Series of Seven Shows

           CBS Sports previews the 2014 Draft on CBS, CBS Sports Network and CBSSports.com with in-depth previews, analysis and discussion leading up to and during the Draft. CBS Sports features a one-hour special on Saturday, April 26, while CBS Sports Network airs 12 hours of coverage beginning on Monday, April 28. CBSSports.com offers a second screen experience throughout the Draft featuring live, online video programming.

 

Coverage kicks off on CBS on Saturday, April 26 (2:00 PM, ET) with NFL DRAFT: ON THE CLOCK PRESENTED BY MERCEDES BENZ. Host Adam Schein is joined by analysts Phil Simms, Chris Simms, NFL Films’ Greg Cosell and Draft Expert Corey Chavous, who offer insight and analysis on the Draft’s top prospects and potential sleepers and reveal their First Round mock drafts.

 

CBS Sports Network’s coverage includes a series of seven shows beginning on Monday, April 28 (9:30 PM, ET), providing a look at the top prospects, under-the-radar players and previewing the First Round of the Draft. As part of the coverage, NFL ON CBS quarterbacks Phil Simms, Steve Beuerlein and Rich Gannon join host Adam Schein to break down this year’s quarterback class on the two-hour show INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL DRAFT SPECIAL: THE QUARTERBACK SHOW on Thursday, May 1 (10:00 PM, ET).  

 

CBS Sports Network’s Draft coverage concludes with a three-hour live show, THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW: DRAFT SPECIAL, on Wednesday, May 8 (7:00 PM, ET). Schein, Chavous, Phil Simms, Bart Scott, Amy Trask and Brandon Tierney will be joined by current Draft prospects and other guests to break down the latest news surrounding the Draft.

 

Adam Zucker, Brent Stover and Schein split hosting duties across the seven shows on CBS Sports Network. College football analysts Randy Cross, Brian Jones, Houston Nutt, Adam Archuleta and Tony Barnhart also will contribute.

 

During the 2014 Draft, CBSSports.com will offer an in-depth second screen experience with DRAFT GRADES LIVE, featuring live video programming online and on the CBS Sports app. The show will feature extensive news and commentary from pro and fantasy football insiders throughout all three days of the event along with an integrated social and interactive experience for viewers.

 

DRAFT GRADES LIVE features NFL columnist Pete Prisco, senior writer Will Brinson, NFL Draft analyst Rob Rang, Fantasy Football writers Dave Richard and Jamey Eisenberg, and host Adam Aizer offering pick-by-pick grades, discussing what’s trending in the social space, and answering fan questions via Twitter.  Available across online and mobile platforms, the show will offer the latest news, predictions and analysis for all seven rounds of the Draft, along with interviews with coaches and general managers. DRAFT GRADES LIVE also will feature frequent updates from CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, site of the 2014 Draft.

 

In addition to the live show, the site will feature written draft grades for all 256 picks, across the seven rounds, a constantly updated list of the best available players, written and video analysis on key players throughout the draft, team-by-team grades, and overall winners and losers. CBSSports.com social accounts, including @cbssports, @NFLonCBS and @EyeonNFL, will also announce all picks as soon as they are made.
