New York, NY — February 14, 2018 – In an interview airing Wednesday, INSIDE EDITION’s Steven Fabian speaks with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Danielle Harrington, who reveals, surprisingly, that she is spending this Valentine’s Day without a special someone.
When INSIDE EDITION asks the 24-year-old beauty if she has a Valentine, Danielle smiles and says, “I don’t have a Valentine. I’m very single.”
The Compton, California native is just the third black woman to grace the cover of the magazine’s highly anticipated swimsuit issue. Tyra Banks was the first, followed by Beyonce. Danielle tells INSIDE EDITION, “[It’s] such an honor to be on the cover of this magazine, and just to be in it and be a part of it with so many beautiful women.”
Danielle’s parents, Darryl and Theresa, joined her at INSIDE EDITION’s studio. Her mother says, “I couldn’t be prouder. I’ve watched her from when she wanted to do this since she was 11.”
When INSIDE EDITION asks her father what he thinks of seeing his daughter model tiny swimwear for the world to see, he says, “This is her dream, and as a dad, who am I to block her dream?”
