THE CIRCUS HAS ‘TOO MANY LAWYERS’ THIS SUNDAY ON SHOWTIME

NEW YORK – April 20, 2018 – The ongoing legal issues surrounding Stormy Daniels, Michael Cohen and the Mueller investigation take up all three rings of THE CIRCUS in the episode “Too Many Lawyers,” premiering this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. In one ring, John Heilemann interviews Stormy Daniels’s outspoken attorney Michael Avenatti before and after he and his client head into a crush of cameras outside a New York City courthouse for a hearing involving President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen. Heilemann and Alex Wagner speak with famed attorney Alan Dershowitz, who dined at the White House last week. Additionally, THE CIRCUS dives into the continuing probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, as Mark McKinnon seeks insights from prominent figures on both ends of the political spectrum – former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and the bombastic former Trump advisor Roger Stone. For a preview of this week’s episode, go to https://youtu.be/HQITggC-qcM.
