Pocket Books to Publish Explosive Memoir by Victoria Gotti

New York, NY (March 4, 2009) - Pocket Books announced today it will publish a stunning new memoir by Victoria Gotti, daughter of John Gotti, in which she will reveal the true story behind one of the most fascinating families in modern history - her own.  Louise Burke, Pocket Books EVP and Publisher, acquired world rights to GOTTI CONFIDENTIAL from Frank Weimann of The Literary Group.

"This was not a project I ever intended to do; however, after years and years of rumors and innuendos, this book was born out of necessity," said Ms. Gotti.  "My family and I feel it is time to set the record straight - warts and all."

"Who among us has not been intrigued by the Gotti dynasty?" said Louise Burke.  "Only a Gotti can tell this story, and we are absolutely thrilled to be publishing this blockbuster memoir. "

GOTTI CONFIDENTIAL will go beyond the tabloid sensationalism and media hype, and put to rest once and for all the scandalous gossip and half-truths.  In addition to her own personal reflections,

Victoria Gotti will include first-hand accounts and contributions from the entire family, as well as

never-before-seen photos.

Victoria Gotti, formerly Executive Editor for Star magazine and a columnist for the New York Post, is the author of several novels and a cookbook.  She also recently starred with her three sons in the A&E network reality tv series, Growing Up Gotti.

GOTTI CONFIDENTIAL will be published as a hardcover on September 29, 2009.
