"The Good Wife" Attracts its Largest Audience and Best-Ever Adult 25-54 Rating

  

"NCIS: Los Angeles" Retains its Best-Ever Lead-In Percentages in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

  

"NCIS" Adds Viewers from Last Week

  

     CBS's freshman dramas had a strong night as THE GOOD WIFE delivered its largest audience and best-ever adult 25-54 rating and NCIS: LOS ANGELES retained season-high lead-in percentages in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Feb. 10.

 

     At 8:00 PM, NCIS was second in households (11.8/17), viewers (19.68m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11).  Compared to last week, NCIS was up +3% in households (from 11.5/17) and added +450,000 viewers (from 19.23m, +2%).

 

     NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.8/16), viewers (17.82m), second in adults 25-54 (5.3/12, -0.1 behind ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (4.0/10, with NBC).  NCIS: LOS ANGELES posted the show's best households, viewers and adults 25-54 delivery since Jan. 5, 2010, and best adults 18-49 performance since Nov. 24, 2009.  NCIS: LOS ANGELES posted its best retention percentages ever in households (92%), adults 25-54 (96%) and adults 18-49 (98%) from NCIS (for first-run episodes only) and matched best retention in viewers (91%, with the series/season premieres). 

 

     At 10:00 PM, THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (9.5/16), viewers (14.69m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11), adults 18-49 (3.1/09), women 18-49 (3.8/10) and women 25-54 (5.5/13).  THE GOOD WIFE posted series' highs in households, viewers and adults 25-54, delivering its best adults 18-49 ratings since Sept. 29, 2009.  THE GOOD WIFE beat the competition combined in viewers (vs. 11.79m, +25%). 

             

     For the night, CBS was first in households (10.7/17), second in viewers (17.40m), adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10).   

 

     Updated Tuesday ratings will be available this afternoon.
