The CSI: MIAMI episode, "L.A.," marks Zombie's television directorial debut.  Zombie has made a distinct mark in the music and film worlds with his uniquely sinister point of view that has resulted in success in both arenas.  A prolific musician, Zombie has multiple gold and platinum records, sales of over 15 million albums worldwide and has directed over 25 music videos.  Zombie's recently released album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2, debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart with upwards of 48,500 units sold in its first week of release.  His re-imagining of "Halloween" claimed the highest-grossing Labor Day weekend opening ever, followed by the 2009 success "Halloween 2."  His film accomplishments also include the critically acclaimed "The Devil's Rejects" and the cult classic, "House of 1000 Corpses." 

 

"L.A." - Horatio and Delko must travel to Los Angeles when a secret from Jesse's past may allow a killer to go free, on CSI: MIAMI, Monday, March 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  This episode was directed by popular filmmaker and musician Rob Zombie.  Zombie's wife, Sheri Moon Zombie ("Halloween"), guest stars as a Los Angeles photographer; William Forsythe ("Halloween") as the Los Angeles Police Chief, Malcolm McDowell ("Heroes") as a sleazy lawyer defending the murder suspect and Michael Madsen ("Kill Bill") as a bodyguard to the murder suspect.
