"NCIS" ROARS BACK WITH NEARLY 20 MILLION VIEWERS OPPOSITE TWO-HOUR "AMERICAN IDOL"

  "The Good Wife" Wins its Time Period in Viewers and Adults 25-54, Topping the Premiere of "Parenthood"

  

CBS Was Second on Tuesday in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

  

NCIS returned from two weeks of rebroadcasts to an audience of nearly 20 million viewers opposite a two-hour "American Idol" and THE GOOD WIFE won its time period in viewers and adults 25-54, topping the Olympic-promoted premiere of "Parenthood," according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, March 2.

 

NCIS was second in households (11.8/18), viewers (19.62m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). 

 

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was second in households (9.2/14) and viewers (14.84m); the program averaged a 4.4/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.1/08 in adults 18-49.    

 

THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.5/15), viewers (13.32m) and adults 25-54 (3.8/10); it was second in adults 18-49 (2.7/08).  THE GOOD WIFE topped the highly promoted premiere of "Parenthood" in viewers (vs. 8.10m, +65%) and adults 25-54 (vs. 3.6/09, +6%).

 

For the night, CBS was second in households (9.8/16), viewers (15.93m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09).
