CBS DELIVERS 11 OF THE TOP 20 BROADCASTS IN REPEAT-FILLED HOLIDAY WEEK

     CBS delivered 11 of the top 20 broadcasts in a repeat-filled holiday week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 2, week 15 of the 2010-2011 television season.

 

     For the week in viewers: CBS (8.40m), NBC (8.55m), ABC (5.37m) and FOX (4.94m).  Season-to-date, CBS (11.85m) is first ahead of ABC (8.77m), NBC (8.07m) and FOX (7.50m).

           

     For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05).  Season-to-date, CBS is first in both adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08).

 

     For the week in households: CBS (5.2/09), NBC (5.0/09), ABC (3.2/06) and FOX (3.0/05).  Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (7.2/12) ahead of ABC (5.5/09), NBC (5.0/08) and FOX (4.4/07). 

 

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

 

     -- On Monday, CBS was first in households (4.8/08), viewers (7.67m), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/05).

 

      HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (R) was first in households (3.9/07), viewers (6.39m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07), adults 18-49 (1.9/06) and adults 18-34 (1.3/04). 

 

 

      RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (R) was first in households (3.7/06), viewers (5.94m), adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (1.8/05).

 

      TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) was first in households (6.1/10), viewers (9.75m), adults 25-54 (3.5/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06).

 

 

      MIKE & MOLLY (R) (9:31-10:01 PM) was first in households (5.2/08), viewers (8.22m), adults 25-54 (3.0/07) and adults 18-49 (2.1/05).

 

      HAWAII FIVE-0 (R) was first in households (4.8/08), viewers (7.83m), adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05).

 

      THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS (S) was second in households (6.2/10), viewers (9.35m), adults 25-54 (2.1/05) and adults 18-49 (1.5/04) opposite football.

 

     -- On Wednesday, CBS was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (7.57m) and adults 25-54 (2.2/06); the Network was tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.6/05, with ABC).

 

 NCIS: LOS ANGELES SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (4.3/07) and viewers (6.88m); it was second in adults 25-54 (1.8/05) and adults 18-49 (1.3/04) at 8:00 PM.

 

      CRIMINAL MINDS (R) was first in households (5.6/10), viewers (9.27m) and adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and second in adults 18-49 (2.0/06, -0.1 behind ABC). 

 

      THE DEFENDERS (R) was second in households (4.2/08), viewers (6.56m), adults 25-54 (2.0/05) and adults 18-49 (1.4/04). 

 

     -- On Thursday, CBS was first in households (5.6/10), viewers (9.07m), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06). 

 

      THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) was first in households (5.5/10), viewers (9.02m), adults 25-54 (3.4/10) and adults 18-49 (2.3/08). 

  

      $#*! MY DAD SAYS (R) was first in households (4.4/08), viewers (7.12m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06). 

  

       CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (5.7/10), viewers (9.18m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (1.6/05). 

 

      THE MENTALIST (R) was first in households (6.2/11), viewers (9.97m), adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and adults 18-49 (1.6/05). 

 

     -- On Sunday, CBS was second in households (6.9/11) and viewers (11.36m).  CBS's football run-over posted a 9.5/16 with 16.00m viewers, 5.5/14 in adults 25-54 and 4.6/13 in adults 18-49 from 7:00-7:16 PM.

 

      60 MINUTES (7:16-8:16 PM) posted an 8.0/13 with 12.85m viewers, 3.0/07 in adults 25-54 and 2.1/06 in adults 18-49.  In the 7:30-8:30 PM time slot, 60 MINUTES was first in households and viewers.

 

      CSI: MIAMI (8:16-9:16 PM) averaged a 6.7/10 with 10.92m viewers, 3.1/07 in adults 25-54 and 2.2/06 in adults 18-49.  

 

      UNDERCOVER BOSS (9:16-10:16 PM) posted a 6.9/11 with 11.87m viewers, 4.0/09 in adults 25-54 and 3.0/07 in adults 18-49.  In the 9:30-10:30 PM time slot, UNDERCOVER BOSS was second in households, viewers and adults 25-54.
