"Same Name" Wins Its Time Period while Posting Significant Week-to-Week Increases in Viewers and Adults 18-49

  

CBS Wins Sunday in Key Ratings Measures

  

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was the night's top broadcast in key demographics and SAME NAME won its time period with significant week-to-week growth in viewers and adults 18-49, leading CBS to a nightly win in key ratings measures, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Aug. 7.

  

From 8:00-9:00 PM, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.5/08), viewers (7.76m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09), adults 18-49 (2.8/09) and adults 18-34 (2.2/08) for the fifth consecutive week.  Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was even in adults 18-49. 

 

From 9:00-10:00 PM, SAME NAME was first in households (3.0/05), viewers (5.05m), adults 25-54 (2.0/05) and adults 18-49 (1.6/04).  Compared to last week, SAME NAME was up +11% in households (from 2.7/04), +18% in adults 25-54 (from 1.7/04), +23% in adults 18-49 (from 1.3/03) and added +820,000 viewers (from 4.23m, +19%). 

 

For the night, CBS was first in households (4.1/07), viewers (6.63m), adults 25-54 (2.2/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05) for the fourth straight week.
