CBS WINS WEEK IN VIEWERS, A18-49 AND A25-54; NETWORK HAS 10 OF THE TOP 12 SCRIPTED PROGRAMS IN A18-49 AND 18 OF TOP 20 IN VIEWERS
"NCIS" is the #1 Drama in Viewers and Adults 18-49
CBS is Only Network to Post Year-to-Year Growth in Adults 18-49
Season-to-Date, CBS is First in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 with Across-the-Board Year-to-Year Growth
CBS swept the week in viewers and key demographics as the Network's scripted programs dominated the adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and viewer rankings, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 20.
CBS won four nights in adults 18-49 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) with 10 of the top 12 scripted series: TWO AND A HALF MEN (#2), THE BIG BANG THEORY (#3), 2 BROKE GIRLS (#4), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (#5), MIKE & MOLLY (#6), NCIS (#7), CRIMINAL MINDS (#8), RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (#9), NCIS: LOS ANGELES (#11) and HAWAII FIVE-0 (#12).
CBS also won four nights in viewers (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) with 18 of the top 20 scripted programs: NCIS (#1), NCIS: LOS ANGELES (#2), THE BIG BANG THEORY (#3), TWO AND A HALF MEN (#4), CRIMINAL MINDS (#6), BLUE BLOODS (#7), THE MENTALIST (#8), MIKE & MOLLY (#9), 2 BROKE GIRLS (#10), HAWAII FIVE-0 (#11), PERSON OF INTEREST (#12), UNFORGETTABLE (#13), RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (#14), CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (#15), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (#16), CSI: NY (#16), THE GOOD WIFE (#17), and CSI: MIAMI (#19).
For the week in viewers, CBS (11.44m) beat ABC (9.55m), NBC (6.80m) and FOX (6.22m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in both adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08). CBS was the only network to post year-to-year growth in adult 18-49, up +7% (2.9/08 from 2.7/08) compared to the same week last year.
For the season, CBS is first in viewers (12.99m), up +2%, adults 18-49 (3.4/09), up +5% and adults 25-54 (4.5/11) up +5% compared to last year.
CBS is also expected to win its 11th consecutive November sweep in viewers.
