CBS WINS PREMIERE WEEK IN VIEWERS FOR THE SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR, MORE THAN DOUBLING LAST SEASON'S MARGIN OF VICTORY

CBS is Up +4% in Adults 18-49 From Last Year;
The Only Network to Post Year-to-Year Growth

Network Has Six of the Top 10 Programs in Viewers and Eight of Top 20 in Adults 18-49

"Life in Pieces" is the Week's #1 New Comedy in Viewers;
"Limitless" Tops Tuesday's Freshman Premieres

With L+7 Playback, CBS is Projected to Gain an Additional +2.0 Million Viewers
For the Week and Climb One Rating Point in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54  

           CBS won premiere week in viewers for the seventh consecutive year, more than doubling last season's margin of victory, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for premiere week ending Sept.  27.

CBS averaged 10.94 million viewers, equal to itspremiere week last year andwas +2.00 million viewers ahead of second-place NBC (vs. +760,000 a year ago).  CBS is the only network to post year-to-year growth among adults 18-49, up +4% from a year ago (2.5/08 from 2.4/08) and was even in adults 25-54 (3.2/09). CBS finishedonly 0.2 rating pointsfrom first place in adults 18-49 after finishing 0.6 behindduring premiere week last year.

            CBS had six of the week's top 10 programs, including #2 THE BIG BANG THEORY, #3 NCIS,  #4 CBS/NFLN THURSDAY FOOTBALL, #7 60 MINUTES, #8 CBS NFL NATIONAL POST GAME and #9 NCIS: NEW ORLEANS. Among adults 18-49, CBS had eight of the top 20, more than any other network.

Monday's premiere of LIFE IN PIECES was the week's #1 new comedy in viewers (11.28m) and LIMITLESS (9.86m) topped all Tuesday freshman premieres in viewers.
