CBS WINS WEEK IN VIEWERS WITH 11 OUT OF THE TOP 15 BROADCASTS

“60 Minutes” Delivers the Largest Non-Sports Audience for Any Broadcast This Season

“Madam Secretary” Matches Series-Best Adults 18-49 Ratings

Led by the AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS POST-GAME SUNDAY, 60 MINUTES and THE BIG BANG THEORY, CBS was first in viewers for Week 17 of the 2015-2016 season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 17.

CBS scored six out of the top 10 broadcasts in viewers as well as 11 out of the top 15. The Network also delivered six out of the week's top 10 broadcasts in adults 18-49 and seven of the top 10 broadcasts in adults 25-54.

CRIMINAL MINDS:

  •  CRIMINAL MINDS (9.33m) matched its season-best adults 18-49 delivery (2.0/06, tied with the program’s season premiere).

 

HAWAII FIVE-0:

  •  HAWAII FIVE-0 delivered its largest audience (9.48m) of the season, matched its season-best adults 25-54 ratings (1.9/06) and posted its second-best adults 18-49 ratings (1.3/05) of the season.

 

60 MINUTES:

  •  60 MINUTES posted its best deliveries in adults 25-54 (6.1/15) and adults 18-49 (4.8/14) since Dec. 16, 2012 as well as its largest audience (20.62m) since Nov. 16, 2008. 60 MINUTES delivered the largest non-sports live plus same day audience for any single broadcast this season.   

 

MADAM SECRETARY:

  •  MADAM SECRETARY matched its series-best adults 18-49 ratings (2.0/06) as well as its best adults 25-54 rating (2.8/07) since Nov. 30, 2014 and its largest audience (11.87m) since Jan. 11, 2015.
