JOHN LEGEND, JOHN MAYER AND CORINNE BAILEY RAE, ALL MULTIPLE GRAMMY AWARD NOMINEES, WILL PERFORM TOGETHER ON "THE 49TH ANNUAL GRAMMY(R) AWARDS," LIVE FROM STAPLES CENTER IN LOS ANGELES, SUNDAY, FEB. 11 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

            John Legend, John Mayer and Corinne Bailey Rae, each currently nominated for multiple GRAMMY Awards, are set to perform together in a signature GRAMMY moment, on THE 49TH ANNUAL GRAMMY® AWARDS, live from Staples Center in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 11 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.  They join previously announced performers Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, the Dixie Chicks, Gnarls Barkley, Ludacris, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Justin Timberlake and Carrie Underwood.

            The pairing of Legend, Mayer and Rae - a unique group of singer/songwriters whose lyrical ability and resonant musicality have established them at the forefront of today's musical landscape (as evidenced by their multiple nominations) - presents a special opportunity to spotlight how a younger generation of artists continues in the tradition of great GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriters of the past.

            John Mayer previously won three GRAMMY Awards and is currently nominated for five:  Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance and Best Rock Album (with the John Mayer Trio).

            John Legend is a also a three-time GRAMMY Award winner and is currently nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals (with Joss Stone and  Van Hunt).

            Newcomer Corinne Bailey Rae is also nominated for three GRAMMY Awards:  Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.

            Previously announced presenters are The Black Eyed Peas, Ciara, Nelly Furtado, Terrence Howard, Samuel L. Jackson, P!nk and Rihanna.
