Kate Bilo To Join “The Talk” Co-Hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne

Los Angeles – KYW-TV Philadelphia meteorologist Kate Bilo will guest co-host on THE TALK,  Thursday, June 28 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT), joining co-hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler at the table.  Throughout the week, news anchors and weathercasters from five CBS-owned stations around the country will be in Los Angeles to serve as guest co-hosts, filling in for Julie Chen, who returns Monday, July 9.  

During the week of June 25, THE TALK will feature the following guest co-hosts:

Tuesday, June 26: Susan Koeppen, News Anchor, KDKA-TV, Pittsburgh

Kate Bilo joined the Eyewitness News weather team on CBS 3 and The CW Philly in October 2010. Bilo forecasts weather for Eyewitness News weekdays at 5:00 and 6:00 PM.

Bilo, a native of Phoenixville, returned to the Delaware Valley from AccuWeather in State College, Pa., where she was a meteorologist since 2004. During her tenure with the weather service, she provided forecasts on TV and radio for numerous AccuWeather clients including FOX News, CNBC, ABC News Now and many local stations. She was also the main morning weather anchor for the Bloomberg Television Network.

Bilo is a 2003 graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish, in which she is fluent, and international business. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in geosciences from Mississippi State University.

       In her spare time, Bilo loves reading and has set a goal to read 100 books this year. She also enjoys traveling and bike riding. A thunderstorm junkie, her dream is to one day go on a tornado chase in the Plains.

CBS’s Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show THE TALK features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform as well as how-to demos, real-world advice and tips from the leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion.  John Redmann serves as executive producer along with Sara Gilbert, who developed the show.
