CBS placed first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the second straight week, with 12 of the top 20 programs led by the top two, NCIS and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 27.
CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS was the week's #1 new scripted series in viewers and tied as the top scripted new series in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. It retained 94% of last week’s adults 18-49 rating.
CBS’s NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP broadcast of Villanova vs. Kansas was number one for the week in adults 18-49.
Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers,+2.88m ahead of second-place NBC (11.36m vs. 8.48m, +34%) and first in both adults 18-49 (2.4) and adults 25-54 (3.2).
