48 HOURS MYSTERY: “MURDER IN THE O.C.” TIED FOR FIRST IN ADULTS 18-49 WITH THE PREMIERE TUESDAY TELECAST OF THE SUMMER

COMPARED TO THE SAME NIGHT LAST YEAR, 48 HOURS MYSTERY WAS UP +36% IN ADULTS 25-54 AND +67% IN ADULTS 18-49

CBS News’ 48 HOURS MYSTERY TUESDAY (P) (R) (10:00-11:00 PM) was tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.5/04, with ABC), second in households (4.1/07), viewers (5.98m) and adults 25-54 (1.9/04), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, May 29. Compared to the same night last year, (THE GOOD WIFE), 48 HOURS MYSTERY TUESDAY was up +36% in adults 25-54 and +67% in adults 18-49.

Tuesday’s telecast featured Troy Roberts’ updated  report, “Murder in the O.C.,” about a deadly love triangle in which former New England Patriots player Eric Naposki was convicted of murdering multi-millionaire Bill McLaughlin. Naposki, who has always maintained his innocence, recently summoned Roberts back to prison to tell more of his story, which was included in this update.
