“48 HOURS: TEMPTATION IN TEXAS” WAS TUESDAY’S #1 BROADCAST AT 10:00 PM WITH VIEWERS

48 HOURS: “Temptation in Texas” was Tuesday’s #1 broadcast at 10:00 PM with viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 2.

48 HOURS: “Temptation in Texas” (R) delivered 6.20 million viewers and a 1.4/04 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to last week’s Tuesday broadcast, 48 HOURS was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/04) and added +580,000 viewers (from 5.62m, +10%).

Tuesday’s broadcast featured the continuation of Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS investigation in the 2011 death of businessman Greg Williams, who was shot and killed in his bed. His wife, Michele Williams, initially said he was murdered by an intruder, but she changed her story during a 48 HOURS interview that eventually became evidence at trial.

48 HOURS: “Temptation in Texas” is produced by Alec Sirken, Ryan N. Smith, Shoshana Wolfson and Claire St. Amant. Mead Stone and David Spungen are the producer-editors.
