Lisa Hughes To Join “The Talk” Hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne,

WBZ-TV Boston news anchor Lisa Hughes returns to the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show, CBS’s THE TALK, as a guest co-host on Wednesday, July 13 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET/1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT), joining hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood at the table. This will be Hughes’ fourth appearance on THE TALK. 

Throughout the week, news anchors from five CBS Owned Stations around the country will serve as guest co-hosts:

• Monday, July 11: Kristine Johnson, WCBS-TV, New York 

• Tuesday, July 12: Elizabeth Cook, KPIX 5, San Francisco 

• Wednesday, July 13: Lisa Hughes, WBZ-TV, Boston

• Thursday, July 14: Kaley O’Kelley, KTVT-TV, Dallas-Fort Worth  

• Friday, July 15: Ukee Washington, KYW-TV, Philadelphia

Additionally, through “The Talk Anchors Away” contest, Boston winner, Marybeth Crowley and a guest, will be flown to Los Angeles and receive hotel accommodations for ​three days/two nights, two VIP tickets to the show and a swag bag from “The Talk,” on the same day Hughes guest co-hosts. 

CBS’s Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show THE TALK features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer along with John Redmann.
