THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS marked 1,500 consecutive weeks (nearly 29 years) as daytime’s #1 drama, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sept. 29. The streak began in December 1988. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS will celebrate its 45th anniversary in March.
